Just missed top 20 Jets scores

I think taking the second and third QBs lost me some points even though competition at the QB spot would be a good thing for us.

I quite like this draft, other than no QB really high, but putting some high draft picks into the line would work wonders I would think.

For all of my wheeling and dealing this draft got an unimpressive grade. With that said I would do back flips if we were lucky enough to land these players:

As I suspected from playing this game in the past, the people running this game have no clue about the Jets. They list the 3 strongest needs as TE, FS, CB, followed by C, OLB and SS. The first two aren't needs at all. QB, RB, OLB, and CB are the top 4 glaring needs, followed closely by C, OT, ILB and OG. Hopefully, C and OG can get addressed in FA.

I had the following draft, and the site didn't like it at all:

Round 1 Pick 11: Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville (B)
Round 2 Pick 11: Bryce Love, RB, Stanford (A-)
Round 2 Pick 25: Duke Dawson, CB, Florida (A)
Round 3 Pick 11: Lorenzo Carter, OLB, Georgia (A-)
Round 4 Pick 11: Clayton Thorson, QB, Northwestern (A+)
Round 5 Pick 15: Tyrone Crowder, OG, Clemson (B+)
Round 6 Pick 11: Sony Michel, RB, Georgia (A+)
Round 7 Pick 25: DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Penn State (B+)

It gave me a B- on the overall draft. Getting Jackson at #11 would be very good. It has several of the QBs falling the 4th-6th rounds, which I don't see happening. I don't see Michel falling to the 6th round, either.

I traded up with the Niners in this draft, giving up our #1, our 2nd #2 and next year's #1. Following is my draft. I only took a FS and C at those points because the site had them listed as huge needs. We get our QB of the future, a stud RB in Chubb, and add a decent CB prospect that the site listed as a top value at that point of the draft, and they give me a C+? LOL Getting Rosen and Chubb alone, even if none of the other picks worked out would make this an A draft.

Your score is: 15520 (GRADE: C+)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 3 (S.F.): Josh Rosen, QB, UCLA (A+)
Round 2 Pick 11: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia (B+)
Round 3 Pick 11: Quenton Meeks, CB, Stanford (A)
    Round 4 Pick 11: Marquis Haynes, OLB/DE, Mississippi (B+)
Round 5 Pick 15: Jaylen Samuels, FB, North Carolina State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 11: Sean Chandler, FS, Temple (A-)
Round 7 Pick 25: Brian Allen, C, Michigan State (C+)

I get both Darnold and Stidham, as well as adding a starting RB in Michel in the 6th round, address the CB need, and improve the OL and get a B. LOL

This is a Todd Bowles special draft. It is heavy on D, but it addresses the need at OLB and CB, and should help fix the middle of the D, making us better vs the run. We also get a FQB prospect, some help for the OL in Fernandez, and help for Jackson with a versatile FB who is an excellent receiver, rusher and blocker, and a speedy RB who can be a 2-3 down starter. It also adds an excellent Red Zoner target at WR.

Your score is: 19398 (GRADE: A-)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 32 (N.E.): Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville (A)
Round 2 Pick 3 (N.E.): Roquan Smith, ILB, Georgia (B)

Round 3 Pick 14 (LAC): Will Hernandez, OG, Texas-El Paso (A+)
Round 4 Pick 11: Jaylen Samuels, FB, North Carolina State (A)
Round 4 Pick 14 (LAC): David Sills, WR, West Virginia (A+)
Round 5 Pick 15: Sony Michel, RB, Georgia (A-)

Even though the dummies who run the site don't particularly care for this draft, I think it would be a pretty darned good one. We'd get our FQB, a stud pass-rushing prospect, an CB prospect (I don't understand why they gave me a B+. In other drafts I've gotten and A or A+ for taking him), our new starting c, our new starting RB, probably our new starting FB (who is versatile and has scored 10 TDs this year), but also possibly a new starting OG if Pierschbacher was allowed to compete with Winters and Carpenter, and competition for the punting job. I only took Chandler because the dumb game insists that FS is a need. He may be a better prospect than Middleton, anyway.

Your score is: 18558 (GRADE: B+)

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 11: Sam Darnold, QB, Southern California (A+)

I'd sign up for this draft right now. We get our FQB prospect in Stidham, a new starting backfield in Barkley and Samuels, a tall target in Sutton who should be effective in the Red Zone, a speedy CB prospect, a new starting C, a speedy and good OLB prospect, another good TE prospect in Gesicki, depth at OG and competition for Catanzaro.
