Spagnolo would fit that criteria since he learned from Jimmy

The 3 people who voted for Brian Schottenheimer should be in straight jackets. Probably Fish and Pats trolls though.

I voted for Shanahan. I think he and Cowher are equally good coaches, I just think that Cowher is more likely to jump ship early and to ask for too much control. Cowher has never been humbled, he's on top and in demand. Shanahan is just as good, but has a lower profile due to his recent troubles. People forget, the real reason Shanahan did best in the beginning is that he has drafting power and is a poor judge of talent. Shanny has slowly drained the Broncos of talent, but what he did with the Broncos in the '90s shows what he can do with a good roster. Bring Shanny in, tell him if he tries to tell Director of College Scouting Joey Clinkscales what to do he's going to get kicked in the nuts.

Not much support for Bill Callahan but I think we could definitely do worse.

    Parcells. RAC as DC.

    Otherwise

    Marty, RAC as DC.

    or

mooch (he can work with Favre, and bring along ratliffe) with RAC as DC.

ANY ONE OF THOSE SCENARIOS is 12+ wins next year (barring injury) and week off before a playoff game

The last 6 forgetaboutit. I watched plenty of Marty ball and it looks alot like Bowles ball and his kid was horrible with the Jets. No way would he come back here.

Fat Rex not that gastro rubberband Rex. I want the old Rex who wanted offenses smashed so he can eat a snack. The guy who was alive on the sidelines and in fron of the mic. Unlike Bowles who has paramedics around him with a mirror under his nose.

    Dennis Allen

Also wouldnt mind Mike Shanahan. Veteran coach. 65. Old but not ancient but I think he wants one more run at it.

Shanahan would be nice, could develop his successor for the duration of his contract.

Say he gives us 5 years as the President/Head Coach then he retires to the front office completely and his OC takes over.

    Sign me up.
