Truly one of the most underutilized plays and given the success this organization has had with the formation, I don't see a downside to getting the ball into the hands of our most talented offensive weapons as fast as possible.
Actually not a bad idea given the personnel. You make Powell the Wildcat QB with Forte the RB. Then you ensure your 2 playmakers are on the field at the same time with one of them having the ball in their hands no matter what.
I was thinking about this the other day. What is the worst that could happen? We lose more games? At this point, we need as many gadgets and trick plays to get this sputtering offense moving the chains. Can we see a reverse, a double reverse, a flea flicker, or something other than run, run, pass, punt?
if they were to hide the ball under their jerseys I bet we could get a few decent yards out of that classic razzle dazzle play
My post was actually a bit of a cheap joke, so I apologise for that. But Forte? Seriously? He's done.
I like when the QB runs back 7 yards to handoff to the HB and the HB has to run 7 yards to the line of scrimmage and gets hit for a 3 yard loss
No worries man lol, I get it. I agree that Forte looks done but he's still probably the second best offensive weapon
