Well, that game was rough. Our defense is worse than many expected. I was actually pleasantly surprised by our offense when Morton was not super conservative. The simultaneous catch that went to the defense (wtf?) and Burris INT trip over his over player play killed us today. But...on to the next one.... I'm terrified of this matchup. I feel like we could be down 2-3 scores at halftime. Any hope at all? If we start 0-2, we are in serious trouble. Go Jets?
No no no. If you love the Jets even one bit and want long term success, you gotta root for a loss. I know it goes against fandom but this is for the best. Jets aren't winning the Superbowl this year and there are tons of QB talent in next year's draft. Best thing for Jets will be to lose as many games as possible to give themselves a chance to pick one of the premier QB's next year. My motto this year is "Lose baby lose".
No need to go all in on the "I wanna tank" this game, Brook, since even if they try as hard as they can it's difficult to see the Jets having any chance at all. The pathetic performance today against a team that is also awful is very telling.
This game will be a blowout loss, reminiscent of some of Rex's blowout losses. Their OL will destroy our DL and the LB will - like today - be out of position to make plays. enough said.

This team can have a tremendous week of preparation and practice and the Raiders can spend the entire week staying out late and partying and the game would not be close ! You want to know the real kick in the ass ? Jack Del Rio is one very bad head coach but he is lite years better than Bowels!!!!!!
Can you imagine what a good QB is going to do to this band of misfits! I bet Oakland could play there practice squad and still win easily.
