Well well well, probably not the proper forum section but Browns are expected to release Calvin Pryor after he had a fight with a teamate. Credit Macc for getting rid of him before this happened in the Jets locker room.
Actually, Demario Davis has been a pleasant surprise. Looks like a completely different player as opposed to his first stint with the Jets.
Mac told him to get cut and he would bring him back here. The ultimate hustle to nab Davis for nothing
guy is a complete bust, and a complete bum. I've been posting that for years on this forum.......along with that sissy Amaro. I'm glad both are gone. Thanks Idzik.
Holy shit! Another Idzik draft pick,..........in the prime of his youth 24-25,.............and NOT currently on an NFL team.
Is fighting with a teammates some sort of prerequisite for being an Idzik-Ryan pick? Anyway, just makes the Jets dumping him look even better.
Mac may not know talent, but he seems good at shedding suck. His next draft (or two) will decide his fate.
Wow, just wow. I know he was already traded but this hits home that the Jets could have just as well not drafted or signed anybody for about 3 seasons and the franchise would be in almost exactly the same spot. Sometimes At the end of almost every season since I became a fan I wonder why I even bother with this shitty franchise. Then I come to my senses 3 minutes later and begin my 8 month wait for these idiots to show up and disappoint again. Oh yea, sign this beast.. I'm serious, why the heck not. We suck anyway it'll be a pennies on the dollar buy for a backup. Then we can cut his ass again.
That is a fact. Look at all the players he cut or traded away this year that are not currently on an NFL roster, many of them marquee players: Mangold, Revis, Pryor or guys that are on the bubble: Giacomini, Geno, Fitz, Amaro, Gilchrist...
imagine how cleveland must feel? traded fro oswiler then cut him (yeah they did get a pick in exchange for giving up a ton of cap room) traded davis for pryor then cut pryor. and people complain about our GM? lol
You can't include osweiler in that. They planned on cutting him as soon as they traded for him. Giving up the cap space for the pick was an absolutely brilliant move. Very forward thinking and innovative. Mac should have been so smart
I did say that they got a pick out of it in place of eating cap room, but obviously they didn't plan on cutting from the start or they would have. that was just assumptions. It was a good move, but how can anyone see the pryor move as good?
