At best 3-13 if we split with Bills and Phins. We are not good enough to win consecutive games so forget beating Jags and Browns back to back. Honestly 1-15 is in play. And that would be a very good thing if we get the #1 pick

They'll be 3-12 heading into the Pats game, with NE at 13-2, and BB will have the Patsies roll over to allow the Jets to win a meaningless game that will drop them out of contention for a top 3 pick.

 

Man, on paper there is just no Talent on this team. The o-line is so bad I expect they will get at least one, possibly even all three of the quarterbacks injured at some point. The defense is going to be on the field way too much and be gassed at the end of games. I'd be surprised if they win more than two.

 

I'll stick with my original guess at 4 wins. Even that would be amazing.

I think we'll start out 2-3 or maybe even 3-2.
So I went balls out and voted for 5-11.

One thing to keep in mind ... there's an 11 week stretch from week 3 - week 13 where we're only on the road 3 times -- @Cleveland, @Miami, @Tampa. Not exactly like heading to Lambeau in December.

 

3-13. Sweep NE and typical beat Bills in a blowout Week 1 to get our hopes unreasonably high.

 

0-15-1 not bad enough to lose 16, not good enough to win 1 but they will find a way to get a tie and prevent the 0-16 season. Lol

 

The defense will be good for 4 wins. I think the offense will get lucky in a couple of games - 6-10.

 

Let's see. Jags suck, Browns suck, Bills and Dolphins aren't scaring anyone...even a dogshit team like this isn't going to lose all six of those games. I'll be generous and say that our D can earn us a split. Every other game is a potential change-the-channel-at-halftime blowout, and looking at the schedule, there might not be a single positive moment after the bye. It wouldn't shock me if they lost every single game after the Browns.

Prediction: 3-13, but 2-14 is in play. Will anyone be worse?

 

I think Mcown gets hurt early, Petty comes in and gets comfortable playing with the number ones, he helps team to 8-8 record.

Showing that Cman was right all along.

Todd Bowles still relegates him to backup after Mcown comes back next year and TGG has a meltdown of gargantuan proportions.

I keep reading about the Defense winning games. Even with all the Draft picks spent on that side of the ball, I don't think they are very good. Not even top 10 , closer to bottom 10. We still lack a pass rush, the D backfield may be one of the worst in the league.
There are some good young Players to build around but they have alot of growing to do. Say what you will, Sheldon's presence will be missed. The first team D looked bad all preseason, even against opponents 2s and 3s. Couple that with how bad the offense looks, the D will be gassed before the Half.
Miami is racked with injuries but they are still way ahead of us, maybe we steal one vs Buffalo if Taylor misses week 1. Jax is weak but Fournett will be the difference and the Browns suck ,just not quite as bad as the Jets.Their O line should be able to control our D line and our O line won't hold up against their D .
McCown and Petty could easily be on the IR by week's 4 and 5 so Hack could be starting by then.
This team will need lots of players to step up, lots of lucky bounces , no injuries and some calls to go our way to get 4 wins. It's going to be an ugly season and if you're really expecting 7 wins, your going to be very disappointed.
2-3 wins is a realistic expectation.

 

If that happens, Petty's 2018 Freedom Clock starts immediately.

 

4-12.

We'll fuck up the draft pick by sweeping the Bills and beating the Jaguars and Browns in shit-fests.

 

We should rent a van, kidnap Petty drive away and release him with fake ID while he still has a chance.....
