The Houston metro area could be getting 50 inches of rain from Harvey. I remember getting hit by Sandy, but my family and I got pretty lucky, power out for a week and half and nothing more than that. Stay safe and as dry as you can!

50" of rain being called for. It's a brutal one.

Champ should be OK in Austin:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
And I think Byz is inland also
Though with the flooding some inland areas could still be in bad shape.
Can't think of anyone else down that way

Hurricane Irene was not kind around here. A friend of mine almost lost his dairy farm and his Mom. It's a story not for the nervous. but worth the telling. I think 9 people have perished now in Harvey. Horrible. Blessings to everyone affected. Has it hit LA yet? As if they need that. Ugh.

Anheuser-Busch has stopped beer production so they are able to can water and send it as emergency supplies to Texas.

Multiple conflicting reports about Joel Osteen keeping his FOS megachurch arena closed and not offering shelter to the desperate and displaced. The reports are really all over the place - as in wildly all over the place. I'm 100% positive his "Ministry" will help all of the people that they can because he doesn't have a choice now. I'm also sure some are just working the opportunity to crap on Osteen, which in general, he fully deserves and I applaud. Crap away, I say, it amuses me in the face of tragedy. I guess it shouldn't matter if he offers shelter to people just to make himself look good and accountable to the Lord Jesus on the outside - but it kinda does.

Watch what happens in the end, though. He'll cash in even more by saying how Jesus guided him and told him not to turn his back on his neighbors, send me more money. And they will. He's an emotional and financial predator, but that also falls on the shoulders of the preyed upon to use the brain that God gave them. I can't stand Osteen. He's a detestable leech on the emotionally vulnerable, just like that horrid hypocritical bitch, Joyce Meyer. If some lost kids, old folks, and separated families have somewhere to sleep tonight, you do your best to weigh the immeasurables on an invisible scale . . . but it's measurable. He's a POS. I'm not turning this into a diatribe on the wealthy. Who doesn't love money? I know I do. We all do. It's making cash strictly for personal enrichment with God's name on it and then lying about it that inflames me no end.

"Joel Osteen won't open his church that holds 16,000 to hurricane victims because it only provides shelter from taxes. #HoustonStrong"
"Hey Joel, don't you have the biggest and richest church? Why don't you open up the doors and the wallet in the name of Jesus for the people!"

This is great. He got pummeled. Haha, you jerkoff. I've outdone myself. He's ALREADY asking for money! Read fast, because it will be taken down, no doubt. Can't believe it's still up.

EDIT & P.S.: Hit the second part of the link where it says pic.twitter. Trust me, it ain't gonna last long much longer.

"Pretty sure Jesus would have walked into this dude's joint and start flipping tables over. I read about it in a Good Book once upon a time."

Hahaha, link keeps getting tossed. It's in the process of getting wiped.

Stopping beer production for natural disaster victims? Or just canning water in the first place?

America caused god to do this to us, what with all the socialists, pagans, abortionists and the feminists and homosexuals, adulterers and what not. We turn our back on god and he turned his right back on us.

"You are as much a Christian as I am a nuclear scientist." Trust me, click that link before it completely dies. It's totally worth your time.

"Dear Fakewood Church: Will the donations for flood victims go towards fueling your private jet?" Relentless and beautiful. Hahahahaha.
"Open up your 10.5 million dollar home to people in need, you asshole. They probably don't want to swim in your pool, though. That pool thing, been there done that under really bad conditions."

It's so great, I can hardly stand it.

Well when pictures like this started coming out after he claimed the church was flooded he was caught in a lie so it forced his hand a little. Not that him lying is a big shock.
