Yanks have been real fun to watch this season.. Offense is clicking and Judge is hitting shots everywhere.

I like the kid Montgomery and hopefully he can be a solid 4th/5th starter aka one of not the Wade Miley variety. Love how Severino's pitching.

Yanks look like a force. Not sure if Ellsbury and Headley can maintain their production but Castro and Judge look unreal. Hopefully Bird gets it together eventually.

I am enjoying this season for what it is: an unexpected chance for the kids to make a mark. And they've been doing pretty damn well so far.

Just hoping cash doesn't give in to temptation if they're still in it late in the season and trade some prospects for Jesse Barfield

That's a George move. Not a Cashman move.

Chase Headley needs to go somewhere that is not on the field.

the bench, another team, his home, just somewhere else.

    Wed. . Yanks 7 - Boston 1
    Thurs. Yanks 9 - Boston 0
    Tonite Yanks 8 - Baltimore 2

Last night Sanchez with two bombs, tonight Aaron Hicks with two - the same Aaron Hicks that Brian Cashman traded reserve catcher John Ryan Murphy to the Twins for. Hicks in only 48 games this year is batting .320 with 10 HRs and 34 RBIs. On the Twins' side of the trade, J.R. Murphy's currently playing for the Twins minor league Rochester affiliate.

WP Jordan Montomgery's off-speed stuff had Tommy John-like bite (Birds were 2 for 20 vs. Montgomery off speed stuff). Montgomery also took over the MLB rookie lead in strikeouts. Yankees the only MLB team with 4 starters with sub 3.75 ERAs (Severino, Sabathia, Pineda and Montgomery). Tanaka's next start pushed back a day to Monday at Anaheim.

Just got back from the Stadium. Aaron Judge hit the longest home run I've ever seen live - it was effin' majestic. And there was this buzz that went on for a while afterwards with people still talking about it.

If the fan didn't touch the ball, it would have been close to 500 ft.

Judge leading the AL in triple crown categories as well as walks and runs scored.

The Magistrate of Mash did it again: . game-winning 430-foot opposite field bullet - Yanks 5, Angels 3.

    - D.D. went 4-for-4; now hitting .344

    - beady-eyed, no-lips Chase Headley with his uptight 'vibe' reminds me of Maj. Frank Burns (M*A*S*H).

Red Sox at home scratch out an extra-inning win over the Phillies (20 games under .500) via a semi-bleeder through the right side. These "pre-season favorites" are a boring bunch of Punch 'n Judy banjo hitters.

Just up one game on Boston but heavily ahead of the entire MLB in run differential. Liking this season so far.

Tough luck alright. . Only silver lining here would be Chase Headley using Torres' absence to relax and improve his numbers (and occasional scatter arm throws) the rest of the way since Torres' isn't a call-up replacement threat in 2017 anymore.

Clippard is f'd in the head right now.

Hopefully, they can get healthy relatively soon. Between Ellsbury, Sabathia, Headley, Bird, and Warren, they're missing some key pieces. Wasn't expecting Warren and Sabathia to be linchpins this year, but there you have it.

Finally, a lead too big for the bullpen to blow.
Miguel Andujar in his first MLB game sets team record with 3 hits and 4 RBI's. Billy Martin ('50) and Marvelous Marv Throneberry ('55; later of NY Mets fame) had 3 rbi's.

Yanks in 1st by percentage points. Luis Severino has handed the bullpen the lead 6x only to have them blow it 6x (which is a blessing in disguise if the "non-wins" keep him from having to pitch in the All-Star game.

Tyler Wade with his 1st major league hit with an RBI double (kid has some serious jets as well).

Tyler Clippard scratched from last night's game due to a death in the Clippard family. Unfortunately it was the grandmother.
