    Never really thought he got a full shot here but I also think he didn't do himself any favors, especially earlier in his career, and the IK incident.

    Nonetheless, its better this way for both the Jets and Geno.

    If I had to guess Geno will have a camp competition against Josh Johnson for the back up job.

    That's it.... Now Giants will take Geno and fuck us with him! Fire Mac for badly mishandling the future HOFer :mad:

    Now I curious how LaGreca and Kay will change their tune on Geno. I bet, like Marshall, he will be instantly promoted from washed out scrub to solid pickup.

    Another young and talented QB bungled by this franchise

    Never should have been playing until atleast midway point year 2 but held his own as a rookie with a truly shit team around him...even saved Rex's job for one year lol

    No doubt some of his issues were self-inflicted but you always wonder what could have been if we had a competent development plan with Geno

    Wouldn't surprise me to see him do well with the Giants if he ever has to play

    The Jets going (8-8) with a rookie Geno Smith truly was a miracle season. Still not sure how that happened. I don't see the talent in Geno that you do, but I can't disagree the environment was not helpful in his progression.
