Who is "us." Don't you speak for yourself. Or do you need a posse to back you up. Personally I don't care what your opinion is. My team is the Jets. What's yours?
I thought you were done responding? The "us" is the 2 dozen posters that disagreed with you in the Brady thread and were incredulous with how dense you were being. _
I said Brady should get 2-4 games. And that the punishment should fit the crime. He didn't deserve getting the whole season. I'm a Jets fan but not irrational when it concerns New England. This thread is about cheating. Thanks for trying to derail it with your personal attacks.
YOU brought up Deflategate. There was NO reason to bring up Deflategate other than to further promote your insistence that your team and your QB did no wrong. We all understand your ruse to agree with some punishment all the while hoping your QBs suspension gets cut to 2 games. We get it, you don't think what your QB did was a big deal. There was no reason to derail this thread with your pro-Brady agenda. I trust the mods see your trolling. Enjoy your vacation. _
First this was my thread. It was about cheating in baseball. A serious incident of computer hacking. I mentioned Deflategate, a cheating incident in the NFL that is still getting national headlines. And made a comparison you didn't like. Ok so voice your opinion, ok with me if you disagree. Instead you derailed my thread and started the personal attacks. My apology to fellow posters.
Here's an article this morning about the Cardinals hiring a law firm to assist in the investigation of the alleged hacking. http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/cardinals-hire-firm-assist-internal-investigation-31837016 What stands out is again a team trying to say it was lower level employees involved and not top executives. Kind of like saying that the Asst. Equipment Mgr of the Patriots was the mastermind behind the deflating and not the HC or Qb. Talk about no accountability. Why would lower level Cardinals employees do it and not top management. Plus they did a thorough job supposedly of getting all kinds of pertinent Astros data.
How quick did this story die down? It has been over a week and we've heard no new developments on the major sites, but I've found some updates So the Cardinal employees, who attempted to mask their location, are hiring lawyers before they've even been charged with anything? Okay bros. GUILTY. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/23/s...ne-riddle-where-but-not-another-who.html?_r=0
Well, I hope Loretta Lynch nails these guys. I'm sure the top guns with STL will try to find a way out of this. Hard to believe since the data they mined from Houston was significant they were doing it on their own.
This is why the Cardinals hired a team lawyer. All the Feds have to do is prove that the upper management knew or should have known, and the Cardinals get hit with bigger penalties and fines. The Cardinals will argue that this was the work of a few low level lackeys. I read the official report from the Cardinals and it can be summed up as "We will find someone to throw under the bus". Of course!
Belicheat also claimed he had no idea and made some low level guy take the fall for the cheating. to me, the deflation of the balls, which was going on for a while, is worse than this, where the idiot from Houston didn't change his password.
