You would go to Juarez and get your head cut off by a street vendor. Make sure you swallow quick, because you don't want your severed neck to regurgitate some tasty taco.
Good, there is still a chance for you to get a real job. Radar reading is only one level above crack whore.
Being PC is exactly what this is about, and the attention from the media. Washington Redskins should not change their name.
Previous case was filed 1992, ruled on 1999 and overturned in 2003 on a technicality due to the age of the person filing suit. This one was filed in 2006, was heard March 7, 2013 and then it took them over a year to make a decision so it will probably be around 2017/2018 for them to hear the appeal. It appears the technicality of the age of the party was cleared up but I am sure they will have some other factors to keep it tied up until about 2025. .
Meanwhile the Redskins are still top 3 most valuable NFL franchises and that's not going to change. Snyder has zero reason to change the name and he won't, even in the unlikely event that the trademark revocation is upheld.
Maybe the PC tide can be turned. I hope Snyder sticks to his guns. Or arrows. http://ftw.usatoday.com/2014/06/joe-gibbs-nascar-washington-redskins Former head coach Joe Gibbs defends the Redskins' name SPARTA, Ky. — Joe Gibbs is just fine with the Washington Redskins’ nickname. The Redskins name has increasingly been viewed as racist over the last year, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office canceled six trademark registrations owned by the team last week. But Gibbs, who coached the Redskins to three Super Bowl titles, said the team’s name has never been anything but positive throughout his life and career. “I grew up in North Carolina and the only games we could get on TV in the late ’40s was the Redskins,” he said Saturday at Kentucky Speedway, where he was preparing to watch his Joe Gibbs Racing team compete. “I pulled for them my whole life. The whole time I was there — 15 years — never once did I hear anybody say anything negative about the name Redskins.” Share this image: Kirby Lee/USA TODAY Sports Gibbs said the name was “always prideful” and evoked “courage.” He emphatically said the name was a good thing. “We have a song: ‘Hail to the Redskins,’” he said. “So everything — everything — about that name has been positive for me and my past.” _
This creepy nerd might just be the perfect guy to argue the point against change; particularly now, when the left has decided to declare all-out war against the guy. He has a has a keen ability to skewer leftist group-speak with facts and a grasp of the English language that few others can match. I thought these two opening parargraphs were a great way to kick off a really good opinion piece, with a well-chosen title.
I forgot about that. Abyzmul will probably remember this better, but I think he and a couple other guys started Patriots Planet and then coldhardfootballfacts spun off of that, no? I remember the PP guys as generally pretty decent posters, and not the rabid trolls we seem to get in more recent years.
