Scik is out on vacation so he asked me to take over the Game Threads until he returns. Hopefully I can keep it going. Boston comes to new Yankee Stadium for the 1st time this season in a 2-game set. Yanks host Boston then Tampa.

Monday 7:05 P.M. - Jon Lester vs. Phil Hughes
Tuesday 7:05 P.M. - Josh Beckett vs. Joba Chamberlain

The 2 kids on the hill for the Yanks. Hopefully it turns out alright.

These should be good pitching matchups. Well, at least until somewhere between the 5th and 7th innings, when they'll turn into slugfests.

It should be interesting to see Beckett vs. Joba. Will either of them play with the inside pitch?

Maybe hitting in Coors Field East will help remind David Ortiz that it's baseball season, and the "haich" in "dee-haich" stands for "hitter."

It's too bad Alex isn't back yet. He and {not as} Big Papi could share an HGH cocktail during the National Anthem. Set himself right back on track. Better than a V8.

Need to keep the rain off. If only we had a witch on this board, we could conjure up something real potent.

Fair question. Who's "her"? My answer depends on yours.

I hitnk we should talk about F-Troop while the game is being delayed. Nothing like PIX going to the F-troop during Yankee delays. Most depressing thing in the world as a child flippin on channel 11 to watch Jim Spencer and getting Larry Stork instead

It's only Coors East to right field. Ortiz would actually need to be able to pull a ball for the park effect to help him.

one night Girard is doing his spot and hes showing knick hilites.
i forgot who the knick player was, maybe kenny bannister. Bannister hits a 3 foot jumper and Girard says "hes deadly from there". I spit my pop rocks out all over the tv
