I am getting tired too, but what I am going to watch? I don't have the NFL network, I better see ESPN Classic when they show some old football games.

It's true that ESPN has in fact lost it's way. It use to be geared more towards the actually content of sports than the entertainment aspect. But if you are really looking for someone to blame, then it should fall squarely on the viewing public. ESPN's board of trustees seems all too willing to cater to the lowest commmon denominator in our society, but can you really blame them if they're the one's most willing to throw their money away on junk?

God knows how much money ESPN has spent on survey's/polls/market research before shit like PTI/Around the Horn/Quite Frankly/Stuart "booyah" Scott became mainstays on the network. But don't be mistaken, it is exactly what the general public wants. And what the public wants the public gets, force fed as that may be...

You are correct...but PTI, Around the Horn, and Quite Frankly are to blame? Those are all pretty good shows. The real problem is what's happened to Sportscenter, and how they announce highlights and certain segments they do on there. ESPN Hollywood also is disgraceful.

I can't watch SportsCenter anymore. I started watching ESPNews instead, but even that's starting to come with it's fair serving of "shtick". Trey Wingo already killed NFL Live/2Night/whatever for me. Although I do enjoy PTI. Gimme dap!

"Quite Frankly" is a terrible, terrible show. Sorry but that's just the truth. Steven A. Smith may possibly have surpassed Stuart Scott as the most annoying personality on ESPN. A loud mouth, who knows little outside of the NBA. And PTI and ATH suffer from the same glaring defect. Over the top sensationalism, that offers little substance but plenty of manufactured controversy. I don't feel like going into great detail, but I'm sure you see this. Woody Paige, Jay Mariotti, Skip Bayless, Tony Kornheiser etc. etc.

They're not on television because of their astute analysis on the world of sports. They get paid because they can yell louder, and make a bigger ass out of themselves than just about everyone else and are good for the occasional chuckle. Sportscenter is being ruined for the same reason as shows like PTI and ATH are allowed to exist and garner huge ratings.

you're correct,i started watching espn news cause i was going to throw my tv out the window if i to look at glass eye mhgee one more time.(NOT MAKING FUN OF EYE JUST STATING IT WAS ODD LOOKING SOMETIMES)

then espn news started pissing me off with the hip women telling me about the football highlights , and im thinkin, did you ever play a friggin down in your cute little life (not pro, just anything besides the classic lesbian sport field hockey).

no, i do not hate women i love them.they sometime get under my skin.

suzy colber? used to like her , now she makes me sick with her annoying voice. her and jaws should team up for the show on tv called - THE WE OVER ANNUNCIATE EVERY FRIGGIN WORD SHOW)

Seriously though, what stopped construction in Des Moines? I want to know!

Great pic, that dude rules for all eternity... or until his cell mate Bubba teaches him what a real reacharound is all about.

"Horny college student physically disrespects..."

Jeez. The Des Moines Register comes across as more New York Post than the New York Post.

I'm just praying that ESPN doesn't realize they have a respectable channel left in ESPNEWS. If they found that out, they would have to make that a disgrace, too.

Erin Andrews' face looks hotter on TV than it does in that picture. I'd still hit it, and hit it hard, though.
