Great Tournament. Very exciting to watch. Thankfully, the NHL is just as exciting to watch (throwing out the fact that there is a greater competative differential between some teams).

Congrats to the Swedes, and to my boy Henrik :)

Yes, very nice to see all those smiling pastey faces and all those craggily chicklet teeth grinning wide.

FTC!! I was expecting you would've been up in the morning with a game thread started and ready to go. I was surprised to not see you in the morning. I especially got up to catch this game. i would normally wake at 10:30, but i couldn't help it. If you can get it on tape or something, please do. First period was defensive, second period was a scoring craze, and the third period had a great buildup.

I just figured this thread would be a good chance to reiterate--I miss Kenny Jonsson.

I know. I know. I know. I went 27 hours straight from 6am Friday to 9am Saturday (I work two job$) which is my usuall work... but I also worked 14 hours Saturday unitl 6am Sunday morning and missed it (I did catch the Bronze). My alarm was set but I slept through it... I personally appologize to you, the hockey gods, and anybody else that views my performance dissapointing. I deserve to be called out... I'm a total failure and a disgrace to hockey. You have no idea how upset I'am. My children are cursed.... if you never talk to me about hockey I understand... and you are right.

Bah. Well, if it wasn't for that lousy time difference, i'm sure you would have been all over it. I guess the US ratings aren't strong enough for hockey to warrent a later start time. Who knows.

FTC, you suck

I was able to watch the most of the last period at work. It was some of the best hockey I have ever seen.
Congrats to the Swedes!
