If I reboot my computer into safemode and run spyware checks will I...

A) be able to get my computer back into normal mode easily
B) will the program delete the wrong things
C) be able to run a system restore if B happens..

If you boot into safe mode and scan for spyware, right after scanning and deleting the spyware, reboot normally or turn the machine off, it will result in your machine booting back into normal mode, no it will not delete the wrong things, only harmful substances such as viruses, spyware, trojans and so on. Yes you can run system restore, but why, you won't need to, everything will be A okay.

Well I'm going to make a system restore point and then go into safe mode JUST in case. Thanks for the help.

No problem. You are probably wasting your time doing that, but do what makes you feel comfortable.
