I have seen Rush every tour going back to 1980 Permanent Waves Tour when I was senior in HS, he has influenced alot of musicians for alot of years...
Tickets for the Snakes and Arrows tour go on sale 3/31 10:00am at Ticketbastard, catch them while you can, this type of drumming only gets more difficult as they progress through their 50's, and who knows when they will call it a day, but for now they still kick ass!
The new CD will be out 5/1 produced by Nick Rasculinetz who has done the Foo Fighters, Stone Sour, Shadows Fall releases...three instrumentals are on the new Rush. This one should rock.

If that we're the case he'd be decked out in the latest cool fashion, playing pop-punk or whatever is popular at the time...

Yeah man you will love it, it's a great great show....and the actors are so laid back, I know people that go to university in Halifax where they film it and those guys are out at the bars all the time......season 7 starts this sunday night, I don't know what channel carries it in the USA...

Bubbles: Ricky, you fuckin promised me you'd get me a Rush ticket
Ricky: It wasn't my fault Bubbles, I'm sorry.
Bubbles: It is your fault, this could affect our friendship you know.
Ricky: Bubbles don't talk like that.

Pete Sandovol of Morbid Angel has a pretty insane drum solo as a hidden track at the end of the "Heretic" album.

I think Lars Ulrich is a more influential drummer than Neil Peart.

Think of the drumming techniques he popularized.

The ...And Justice For All album is a prime example of Lars' techniques.

Lars also co-founded one of the "Big Four", Metallica.
