Redskins.com reports the Washington Redskins have signed free agent TE Christian Fauria (Patriots) to an undisclosed contract.

How the hell do the Redskins every Free Agency get two or three big FA signings , overpay them quite a bit, and have the cap to go out the next FA class and make more big signings? Of the top of my head the last big FA signing we had was Sam Cowart and we ended up quite a bit over the cap this year

Good for Christian. Wish him nothing but the best. Guy was a great character guy for us and played hard every down on the field. With our TE situation overflowing, I can't fault the guy for wanting some more playing time.
