They've really revamped their D, with Glover, Chavous, and now Witherspoon. Witherspoon's a very good young LB, only 25, great signing by them.

I have a feeling that the Rams are going to end up being inconsequential for years to come, though. Longer than it takes for the Jets to completely rebuild.

Claiborne, Witherspoon, and Tinoisomoa is actually a damn good LB corps. Haslett is a crappy coordinator though, a guy like Donnie H would have turned their defense into a force but I can easily see them remaining weak with Haslett coordinating them.

Claiborne was CUT. I think you mean Dexter Coakley. They do not have a MLB though...

Nick Wagoner, of StLouisRams.com, reports the St. Louis Rams plan to have LB Will Witherspoon play middle linebacker. Witherspoon has played the middle before with the Carolina Panthers due to injury situations with Panthers LB Dan Morgan.

Exactly my bad. I remember they brought in two guys last year. Yeah Coakley can still play that's for sure. Good call.

even with 3 good signings, their D is not top 15 defense imo...

they were in the late 20's before..now they're late teens
