Jarvis Moss has declared for the nfl draft, i think this might be our guy if some of the more highly touted names are not available at our pick (such as woodley, carriker, bush etc.). this guy is a perfect pass rushing OLB at 6-6 260 w/ freak like speed (runs in the 4.4 range).....only thing i can find wrong with this guy is his durability which ive heard isnt the greatest. But when on the field idk if there is a better pass rusher then this guy in the draft.

Sounds good to me.I want Woodley or Moss.If they're both there I would take Woodley.

My guess is that there is a very little chance that Moss would fall to our pick. He's got the size/speed that teams are gonna fall in love with, if they already haven't...
But if he's there, no way they should pass him up, even if Woodley is there too

Best case he's available, worst case, he pushes another passrusher down to us. I would certainly love to see this kid be our pick at #25, without question. He's an incredible talent.

I know what you mean, but you would pass on a premier pass rusher?

You're going to need to clarify that statement in some way, because as it stands, it's one of the dumbest things I've ever read.

That's what I'd figure, but Moss hasn't been like that at all.

He has some durability issues. Sorry for not being more clear.

The difference between the two is that Moss actually tried playing through pain. He had torn muscles in his pelvic area and tried playing through it in 04's preseason.

If he runs a 4.4 at the combine, he'll go EASILY in the Top 20.

Exactly!!! It actually turned into a Hernia. Moss tried to play and when it was apparent his injury was worse than expected, he had to shut it down. Moss is a freak of nature, someone with that size, it should be illegal what he can do on the football field. That South Carolina game he won the game on his own with those blocks.
Jarvis is the type of player an offensive coordinator would have to game plan around, and know where he's at on the field at all times.
I'd love to get Moss at # 25, but with his ability, great combine numbers, and if he checks out physically, he will move up into early or mid Rd 1 come April. Moss is a good kid, graduated H.S. with a 3.2+ G.P.A.......I'd love for him to be a Jet
IMO, Woodley couldn't carry Moss's jockstrap. Moss is an impact player, Woodley makes some plays, but isn't going to keep offensive coordinators up at night.
Get some game film of Moss, if you haven't seen him play.

The only way Moss is available at 25 is if he smokes weed before the draft. This is the kind of guy that shoots up the draft boards the closer the draft gets..
