I recently did a mock draft on another site with me picking for the jets. I made one trade. I traded the 71st pick (my 3rd) and the 102nd pick (my 4th) for the 127th (Seattle's 4th) and the 63rd pick (Seattle's 2nd). According to the draft pick value chart, I got the better of the deal but the reason I did it was so I could get Mangold. Also, most of the draft was done pre-combine.

Round 1 Pick 4- D'Brickashaw Ferguson OT Virginia
Round 2 Pick 3- Brian Calhoun HB Wisconsin... This was before his 4.6 40 at the combine. Would not have made this pick if I could do I again.
Round 2 Pick 31- Nick Mangold C Ohio St... My favorite pick of my draft. Huge steal and fills a big need.
Round 4 Pick 20 (From KC)- Jason Spitz OG Louisville... A little hesitent about picking 3 o-lineman in 4 picks but at the time of the pick it looked like Kendall was going to be cut so I thought we needed some depth at guard badly.
Round 4 Pick 31- Charlie Whitehurst QB Clemson... Long term backup

So how would you think I did?

Also, if any one wants to see the entire draft let me know and I'll post it.

Nick Mangold will not last anywhere close to the end of the second round

I'm not a fan of Calhoun and I seriously doubt Mangold falls anywhere close to that far.

You are God for getting Mangold 30 picks later then he should be picked. Calhoun is also a reach... if we can't get Bush, Deangelo, or Lendale I really don't think we should address RB because no one would be an upgrade over a Houston/Martin tandem.

I think Maroney and Addai might also be upgrades as well. However I do agree with your general belief though. With Curtis, Houston, and Blaylock depth is not the issue. After the top few guys I'd rather give Houston an extended opportunity. Everyone liked to say he was a 2nd/3rd round talent if not for the thyroid condition.

If you sub Maurice Drew for Caulhoun that would be great!

Ya but you could draft Drew in the 3rd or 4th.

I would put Mangold with the early pick and Maurice Drew with the late 3rd rounder that looks about right

Thos are the players he drafted in a 32 man mock draft, not his projections.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I have the same feelings on my draft as most of you do. Mangold was a huge steal but Calhoun was a bad pick.

Could you so we could see who was on the board at that first 2nd rounder?
