I said am a member of "Music" message boards. I am on a few rock sites, country, and jazz. And a few that deal with music in general. And it wasn't just country sites that were going at her, it was ALL OVER. It was like a Faith Hill lynching in cyber space. If it was in real life, her head would have been on a pike. It was GREAT. I loved it. Total insanity with her fans running around screaming her defense. It was beautiful and satisfying carnage.

Next to the Jets, music is my second passion. I listen to everything. And I am proud to say I am country fan :grin: Plus there are A LOT of hot female country chicks. Mmmm..good.

I didn't watch it, of course, but I did click through it and a thought came to mind: We need to devise a way to put an end to ALL awards shows. Every. Single. One. Grammys - Gone! Oscars - Out! Golden Thingies - Dead! Kennedy Center Awards. . . Hip Hop Awards. . . . Spanish Mainland Awards - all taken out back and shot!

They can still have their award shows, those fakey, empty-headed Hollyworld types. But I don't want them on my television screen when there are perfectly good Green Acres and Beverly Hillbillies reruns sitting on the shelf!

I agree that we can do without all the awards shows. I haven't watched one since I was a small child, and that was only because it was an excuse to stay up late.
