Ron Dayne, RB DEN
News: The Denver Post reports the Broncos released Mike Anderson so Ron Dayne can have a shot to take over as the team's new featured back. He still has to be retained when free agency starts, but it sounds like Dayne will return and compete for a prominent role.
Analysis: The former Heisman winner has been a bust as a pro, but his downhill running style fits the Broncos offense like a glove. He could become one of next season's biggest sleeper candidates.

Tatum Bell probably won't last a full season, so it will probably be a mixture of both. Shanahan used Bell very well giving him 10-15 touches a game in order to utilize his speed to the outside and giving Anderson the dirty work inside.

I saw this a few days ago and was also shocked, I still see Bell as the starter there though.

I could see them trying Dayne as a starter along with Bell, he fits very well with them.

The only kind of offense that fits Dayne is one that lets him use a golf cart to move his fat ass up and down the field.

He will play, and I bet he will do well but still will split with Bell, Bell cannot play as a featured back and neiterh can Dayne so they are a good fit behind one of the best lines in football, Either that or they are trying to get a 1000 yards with one of the worst feature backs int he NFL, just to say they can. Just shows how bad Clarett actually was
