At 6 foot 8 inches and 256, Aaron Durley, who plays for the Saudi Arabian Team is by far the largest kid ever to play in the Little League World Series.

Did they buy a team? Are those the children of concubines? Haliburton execs?

And how come the 18 year old giant did not dye his hair?

Many of the kids on the Saudi team have one or both parents that are Americans who work for the oil companies within Saudi Arabia.

During the game they mentioned how several families were having family reunions in Williamsport, PA since the the Saudi companies only allow their employees one extended vacation per year.

Thanks. I was half joking, but I do find it odd that it's been on so much. Used to be just the final, I can't believe there's a TV market for all these games, but I guess there is. Not sure I'd want to meet a good portion of said market, but apparently it is there.

Again, if you have kids who are in LL I understand why you'd be interested.

It must be terribly hard for him though when he's facing 5'5" pitchers. The kid has a humongous strikezone. That's one of the reason MLB players usually max out at 6'3" - 6'4".

Read the article. They're Americans whose parents work for oil companies in the middle east. That's why they don't look Saudi.

And that poor kid. He's a freak of nature. I hope someone double checked his birth certificate.

That and every enormous young kid I knew grew to fast for his reflexes and was oafish the rest of his life.

3 reasons why that kid may be so big....

1. in stead of 93 it must say 83 on the birth certificate.
2. whose damn toxic waste dumps in saudi arabia, watch out for those :wink:
