I hate the Yanks, but I wish for a meteor to destroy Turner Field, my hatred for the Braves after the shit they put us through these years will never put the Yanks in the same stratosphere in terms of hatred

Definately the Braves. The only Yankee players that really ever reached hate status were Clemens and Paul O'Neil

How could any baseball fan hate Paul O'neill the guy exemplified athleticism and sportsmanship. He played in the World Series the night his dad died.He was a true competitor and class act.

I just despise basically anything that is the Yankees. I hate Stienbrenner, Giambalco, Michael Kay, Sterling, Arod, Damon, Randy Johnson and plenty of others. I have plenty of respect for Torre, Jeter, Rivera and Posada. And I can't stand that most Yankees fans probably don't know that Don Mattingly actually played for the team. When they lost game 6 against the Marlins at home in the world series that was just amazing.

What is there to hate? They blow now.

From 1991-93 they were not in the Mets division.
1994 had no postseason.
From 1996-2005 they sucked in the playoffs.

There was some hate to be had in 1998-2000, but that was just a blip on the radar screen.

I've laughed my ass off at the expense of the Braves through the years.

The problem wasn't the Braves. It was just that the Mets usually sucked.

I hate the Dolphins too,because I am a Jet fan. But the Met fans hate for the Yankees is one of the most ridiculous things i have ever seen. It is such a strong hate and it is for no ther reason than because the Yankees have won so much and the Mets don't and play the length of the bridge away from the Yankees.

I don't like the Yankees, but I don't hate them as passionately as some either. I think its pretty much for the same reasons that a lot of Jets fans hate the Giants.

It's for the same reason why many Jets and Giants fans in the tri-state area dislike (or hate) the other team. It has nothing to do with winning. When the Yankees were the worse team in NY, I didn't like them then either.

The Yankees were hated in 1991 by Mets fans. Nothing to do with winning. Not with me, at least.

Yeah, that seems to happen with just about any winning teams' fans. For whatever reason, some people tend to think that their team's success translates into personal success, and they're better than fans of "lesser" teams.

I have never Met a Met fan that doesn't hate the Ynakees with a passion. I do know Jet fans that don't dislike the Giants and Giant fans that don't hate the Jets. The Met fans hate the Yankees as much as Boston and Yanlee fans hate eachothers teams. And it makes no sense other than jealousy. It has all to do with winning,none of the Met fans will ever admit it. They will say it is because we Yankee fans don't know who Don Mattingly is etc,which is a direct shot at the Ynakees latest winning streat in the late 90's. Pretty much saying that because they won.were all bandwagon fans.

My father is a Braves fan and grew up in Brooklyn. I'm still trying to get him into therapy. And he's upset over this season and I'm like "You've had the playoffs for almost 15 years!"

So I hated the Braves even before they were good. I root for the Yankees against Boston because I can't root for New England in anything.

He was a first baseman on long ago Yankees teams. Played with the club from 1982-1995. Pretty good, but not as good as Kirby Puckett.

I can't say i hate the Yankees (with the exception currently of A Rod and The Big Ugly)....but I do hate Yankee fans...............and that does translate into hating the team
