So whos got sleepers for this years season.
I see a big year for Andre Johnson ( circa 04)
tatum bell ( even though mike bell was named starter so far)
Chris Chambers + ronnie brown (both primed for huge seasons)
who do you guys have? ill throw out some more, i just want to hear some other peoples thoughts, my draft is next week and i pick 9 out of ten so my sleepers really have to be on point in the later rounds. thanx!

He's my starting TE with LEonard Pope backing him up so I hope you are right.
Chester Taylor, in my opinion is going to suck and get tons of carries taken away from him by Moore and Fason.
As far as sleepers go, I'll say you could get a pretty good deal on Kellen Winslow.
Also, I feel like the pendulum has swung so far on Michael Vick that he is now underrated. He could be an awesome backup QB along with Trent Green.
I also like Michael Clayton and Keenan McCardell in the later rounds.

Wow, two rookie tight ends. That's not something I ever did.

I know Ronnie Brown is going to be a sure-fire mid-first round pick, but I really think he's going to have a huge year. He did very well even with splitting carries, so now he should be alot more productive. He has the potential to go distance every time he touches the ball and has some pretty good recieving skills too. I'm not saying he's a sleeper, but I just don't think many people are giving him enough credit, and he would be a steal after the seventh or eight pick.
Rueben Droughns is another guy I wouldn't mind having. Not as my stud RB, but he is one of the best #2 backs you can get in the middle rounds. I think he gets lost out there in Cleveland and not too many people pay attention to him.

David Carr, Chester Taylor, Josephi Addai, and Deuce McCallister
What do you guys think about Frank Gore? He's entering his second year and showed promise. S.F. acquired Larry Allen to improve the line and a new coaching staff. Im thinking about taking him for my third RB. comments.

Flip a coin and that's about as good a prediction as you can get as to who will produce more for SF. Of course with that QB and line...

Greg Jennings would be a good choice in a keeper league.
As far as a regular league, I wouldn't draft him, but he might be worth putting on your team later in the season, especially if the Packers suck. They'll be trailing in games and maybe later in the season Jennings will get more playing time and maybe even start games opposite Donald Driver.

Kellen Winslow. I picked him up, he was at the bottom of the barrell and if Cooley starts to drop off I'll try out KW2

Andre Johnson-top 10 or 15 WR
Chris Chambers-top 5 WR
Ben Watson-top 8 TE
DeShaun Foster-Really like him as a borderline top 10 RB. I think he stays healthy this year. Just a hunch.
Jon Kitna-Everyone likes Martz. Everyone likes the receivers. I like Kevin Jones. Sleeper QB here.
Drew Brees-If the shoulder is healthy, no reason he can't be a top 5 fantasy QB.

I dunno, Volek and Bennett have serious chemistry, I can see Bennett putting up monster numbers. And it's not as if Givens demands a lot of passes, he isn't a true #1 and is only a good #2.

Vincent Jackson... he is on nobody's fantasy radar unlike most of the guys mentioned in this thread who are all draftable in the first half of most drafts.
He will emerge as a viable receiving threat this year and next year he will achieve "stud" status.
Watch out for Derrick Mason. Reunited with Steve McNair. I think he might put up some huge numbers.

Here is another little nugget for you all... Arlen Harris.
He is the #2 RB in Detroit in Mike Martz's system, the same system he worked in while playing for St. Louis. Anyone that recalls the games he played in place of Marshall Faulk know he can put up numbers under Martz.
Kevin Jones will continue to squander his opportunities to be a stud by taking a seat on the sideline with petty injuries and Arlen Harris will be the man, not Brian Calhoun and not Artose Pinner.

hey buddy vincent jackson is in his second year and is 4th on the depth chart. the only way he is a good fantasy pick is if u are in a league of 54 players.

i kinda like ernest wilford to have a break out year....but on that team it could be anyone, reggie williams, matt jones or wilford...i wouldnt be shocked if williams came out of the pack, plus once taylor gets hurt their running game gets anemic....
....nice late round pic here i believe, any of the three, and hope one of them has a breakout

Yeah, keep pointing out where I am wrong smart ass... fact is Arlen Harris plays for the Lions, where it is in fact a Mike Martz system since he is the new Offensive Coordinator. Now let me think for a moment... how productive was Marshall Faulk in that same system... hmm? Why don't you check your fucking facts before you go on the offensive correcting people.

If you knew anything about the situation you would understand that VJ was brought in to be the #1 WR on that roster eventually. When I talk of sleepers, I talk of guys that you wouldn't expect anything out of... guys that come out of nowhere. Its not bold to predict Billy Volek as a sleeper, everyone knows he will have a chance to shine. Its really not bold to predict Chester Taylor as a sleeper either... he is a fucking 3rd round RB, he isn't going to shock anyone if he is good this year.
A sleeper is a guy that comes from absolutely nowhere and "arrives" on the fantasy landscape for the first time. Vincent Jackson may be listed on an outdated depth chart that you found as the #4 WR (he is actually the #3 right now), but by seasons end I think he will be the #2 WR across from Keenan McCardell and he will have 50-60 receptions with 5-6 TDs... making him worthy of having on your fantasy team and definitely a sleeper that panned out.
Also I said he was a sleeper of mine, NOT that he was a good fantasy pick... you know sleepers are guys you can get away with not drafting and watching until they might have a breakout game and then you pick them up off waivers...

Jeezus... do any of the people on this site actually follow football? Chad Jackson is a rookie WR for New England... David Givens plays for the Titans and is not holding out... therefore he won't effect Chad Jackson's playing time. Deion Branch is holding out for NE.

QB: Drew Brees: He will be a forgotten man now that he's been banished to New Orleans, but he has some great weapons there.
WR: Hank Baskett: Undrafted Rookie that I wanted the Jets to draft. I've heard chatter that he may be starting for Philly this year, because he's really impressed in camp and the pre-season. Maybe we worth picking up in the final rounds.
RB: Deuce McCalister: A nother forgotten man, because of the injury and Reggie Bush hype. Even if Bush pirates carries from him, Deuce will have the ball in the Red Zone.

Anyway ...
here are some obvious ones...
Willie Parker
Warrick Dunn
both should now be getting lots of yards AND touchdowns...not just yards
some good WR's...
Terry Glenn should have 800-1000 yards and 5-6 TD's
Donald Driver looks like he's gunna have another huuge year
agreed about andre
Eddie Kennison should get 1000 yards and 7-8 TDS
Ashley Lelie or Michael Jenkins are worth a FA pickup.
QBs...
Jake Plummer
Drew Bledsoe
Kurt Warner
Chad Pennington
that's all for now

Steve McNair for sure. He's on a better team with a better offensive line and a good core of recievers like Mark Clayton, Todd Heap and Derrick Mason.

ya, Baltimore is my sleeper team. Love Heap and Mason, like Jamal, like McNair. Love Clayotn on the Bucs, think Coles is going to do MUCH better than where he's drafted - I see 80, 1150, and 5. I mean, where else is Chad gonna go when the going gets tough? I like Antonio Bryant and Frank Gore. Not because I think San Fran is gonna be great, but I think they'll be better than where they are being drafted. I'm keeping eyes on Maroney, DeAngelo and Greg Jones, because if any of them gets in the game, they'll be good.

as soon as dashaun foster goes down, deangelo will put up LJ type numbers, you almost have to draft both guys if you draft foster, but Williams has mid season sleeper written all over him
