Who ya got?
I'll take Soriano he is the youngest and obviously the most talented.

Agreed...

Also, how far in the future are we talking?

How a bout Melky, Damon, and Matsui...

Bingo!

If Sheff can return, he is a DH. Bernie stays for another two or three years as a utility outfielder. Giambi and Phillips split time at first. When Phillips plays first, Giambi DHs, and Sheff is the odd man out who sits.

None of the above..

My sentiments exactly.
Melky-Damon-Bernie/Bubba/Guiel until Sheff or Matsui returns.

He's consistently inconsistent. And he is has a very itchy trigger finger. He has loads of talent, but he's too much of a loose cannon.

I'd prefer none of the above, as it would take some high end prospects to get one of them. However if I had to choose one...My heart would say Abreu(one of my fav. players) and my head says Soriano(would add speed and athleticism to line-up).

If Soriano were free, I'd grab him in a heartbeat. But I'm not dealing Hughes or Tabata for him.

Imagine if we got Soriano in FA this year... In essense, we got ARod for free, just as if Soriano took a 3 year vacation from the Yankees

Now, i'm not saying i want that... I'm all for work the farm system

None of them. Abreu is the only one worth getting, but I wouldn't even want him. Soriano doesn't have "everything", infact he lacks the most important thing, a high OBP, one that isn't in direct correlation with a high or low batting average.

Soriano has been walking more this year. 37 walks so far this year. 33 each last 2 seasons.

His K : BB is still 2 : 1. It was a blessing when he was traded (even greater when you realize we traded him for a top 3 player in the world), let's not bring that headache back.

I like Melky, but Soriano is only 30 id much rather have him.

You guys have to remember - what are you willing to give up for Soriano?

I personally wouldn't want any of them if I was a Yank fan. Guillen is a crybaby, Abreu is afraid of the wall, Stewart would fill a lead-off role which the Yankees don't need, and Soriano is terrible defensively and will probably cost atleast Melky Cabrera.

Keep what you have for now, and as everyone is saying use Matsui - Damon - Cabrera for the next few years.

I'd give up Shawn Chacon for him.

So obviously, I want absolutely nothing to do with him ever again.
