There both Big mobile QB's obviously Young is a lot more mobile though. They both dominated in College and are completely overhyped. So good luck Titans or whoever else drafts the next ryan leaf

Ryan Leaf and Vince Young are nothing alike. Let me guess, you're a Leinart fan right? Leinart is a lot closer to Ryan Leaf.

Neither Leinart nor Young is in any way similar to Leaf.

Leaf was not a leader, if Vince Young is anything he's a leader.

no not a fan of leinart either, I think that between this year and last years top QB's I dont see any of them developing into much. I think that the next solid QB will come next year with Brady Quinn and based on the fact that the jets may win 2 games this year I think we should just wait for him next year, and also Cutler Getting drafted "as early as number 2" is the same chances that Reggie Bush will go in the 7th round.

We're going to probably win 6 games this year, and the same questions will arise for Brady Quinn. I think Leinart is better than Quinn atleast in college credentials. I think Young and Cutler easily have more potential. There aren't going to be many QBs with more potential than Young. It's another story as to whether it will all be realized.

Ellis, as usual, is right on the money.

Leaf and Cutler both carried programs that overachieved during their tenure. Both had big arms and average completion percentages. Both were overhyped because of their big arms.

Leaf wasn't mobile. As I recall he was more like a poor man's Drew Bledsoe.

I agree with you 100% that Young is going to be a huge bust but in no way is he Ryan Leaf.

Vanderbilt overachieved? He lead them to 11 wins while he was there. I hate to see what they look like if they didn't overachieved

They did over achieve last year... they won 5 games instead of the normal 2. 5 Wins is an enormous season at Vandy

vince young is not going to be anything spectacular, but those who compare him to ryan leaf, never watched ryan leaf.

Any QB Prospect from now until forever > Ryan Leaf

Vince Young is a winner and is a much better runner then Leaf... he is also lightyears ahead of Leaf in maturity and Young is a very good, marketable player then would be an asset to any team.

 Ellis is 100% correct. Keep in mind that I like Jay Cutler quite a bit, but he is clearly more like Leaf than Vince Young.

Leaf's fatal flaw is that playing for a small program in Pullman didn't prepare him for the pressure of the media in the NFL. Cutler has no experience with the media, Young has tons of it. All 3 have the talent, but Young is the most prepared to deal with the pressure.
