Wow you guys have high hopes for rookies. I say everyone lowers all the players by one and that is more accurate. 79 is the average high for rookies. I can only see Matt, Bush, Brick, Mario, and Davis at or above 81.

Wasnt Kellen Winslow a 85 or 86? Davis should rate similar, and if he rates that high, than so should Bush, easily the best prospect in this year's class

Yeah. Rookies are getting higher and higher ratings. With his talent, I wouldn't be surprised if Bush was an 86 or 87. Then a host of players will probably be from 81 - 85 (Ferguson, Williams, Leinart, Hawk, Huff, Davis, Young, Ngata included).

most top 5 picks are around an 82 or 83. Madden bases their ratings on how much the person gets paid

they also usually have good stats in the areas needed but they have an awarenes in the 50s or 60s, an easily developed stat in franchise mode. Thats why rookies get good so quickly in franchise mode. ( ihad tatupu go from an 85 i believe to a 91 in one season w/o training camp)

Yea but some thing doesn't go with money. For exmaple speed, which is great for any player. Strength too.

Awareness if usually the biggest weakness in Rookies.
