My money is on Shaun Alexander. Don't rule out Tom Brady.

Do you think that EA Sports cares that Jerome Bettis is finally retired? I can see it now:

Calling it right now Tim Dwight.

And they will also release a old school version where Ray Lucas and Rick Mierer will split the cover.

EA is expecting its highest sales.

Then you are not as bad as some of the "fans" in here who try to pull video games into the discussion of real football games and issues.

Chad Johnson would be great for publicity. He's just hilarious, and I'm sure he would bring alot to the table for Madden.

I see it being CJ as well. If not, Matt Hasselbeck.

Fleming, I am a huge video game fan and will fully admit that video games can be a useful tool in breaking down and learning football. I admit I couldn't break down the cover 2 defense, only halfway understood what a "zone" or "man" coverage was, or knew what the 46 Bear was until I got into Madden around 1997-98. Know I'm like friggin Buddy Ryan....THANK YOU MADDEN AND EA SPORTS....ITS REALLY IN THE GAME!

Any updates? When are the results coming in?

Not that I care, but I already reserved it and I think the cover boy will be Shaun Alexander.

As opposed to the problems Fleming has, which largely involve someone not properly preparing his Apple Sauce.

Lord, Sportscenter at 6 pm (eastern) is announcing it.

I think there going to go defense this time around, with that being said, The best D in the league without question was the Chicago Bears the best Player on that Team ? Brian Urlacher arguably the best defender in the league. They went offense last Year so i suspect they'll go the other route. Plus B. urk will look good on the cover.

If they go D they might go with John Lynch, FS for Denver.

Thanx GH I'll tune in at 6.

I hope it Is a JETS player.
The way I see it, the Madden curse would cancel out the Curse we have now!

The only guy from the Jets they would put would be Vilma.

That being said there is a decent chance of that happening.

Mabye they'll put Bush on the cover!

Why not pay closer attention to the REAL game if you want to know what a Cover 2 defense is?

Fantasy football and video games are very poor subs for the real thing.

My applesauce is getting warm, I better go before I offend more of you "living a full life" fans.

Not to mention disgusting music, that bone-crunching sound when you hit someone hard, and John Madden's play-calling!

Guess that rules out the Seahawks going back to the superbowl, to bad too, since they got robbed the last time they went.
