Ok, the Mets are averaging 6 runs a game with turkey and 5.3 runs a game without. As the sample size is quite small(6 games) I think a closer inspection of the numbers are in order.

The first 2 turkey games were great sucesses, with the Mets scoring 7 and 13 runs and winning both games. The past 4 however have been pretty disappointing, with the Mets scoring 3 runs or less in 3 out of the 4 games, while losing 3 as well.

Unless we see a strong performance from the bats today I think it's time to move on.

There will be no turkey games this series as far as I know. They obviously had to push back Saturday's game since Friday's won't be over till midnight and they still have to travel afterwards.

Seeing as how I haven't participated in the turkey eating at any point in the season and the Mets have done just fine, I will go against the turkey-is-bad-for-night-games grain and eat a turkey and cheese sub from Pathmark soon.
