today the mets are playing at 110pm at shea and our bats need the help.I have eaten a turkey sandwich both days last week when our bats put on a hitting clinic.with the way we hit last night (3 hits 1 run)we can use all the help we can get.

we are facing tim hudson, who wasn't pitched well this season,in the rubber game of this 3 game series.

lets go mets fans, our team needs our support.TURKEY SANDWICHES AROUND THE BOARD.

I'm thinking you need to stick with the turkey at least one more time.. The turkey is now 3-3, with the success of the season so far, it is to early to panic. IMO jumping ship now will do more harm than good.. We can't screw with the karma of this season over a 3-3 record..

Ok, the Mets are averaging 6 runs a game with turkey and 5.3 runs a game without. As the sample size is quite small(6 games) I think a closer inspection of the numbers are in order.

The first 2 turkey games were great sucesses, with the Mets scoring 7 and 13 runs and winning both games. The past 4 however have been pretty disappointing, with the Mets scoring 3 runs or less in 3 out of the 4 games, while losing 3 as well.

Unless we see a strong performance from the bats today I think it's time to move on.

I'll give you an A- for this. Nice analysis, but I would have liked to have seen some graphical support - time series plots of the turkey and non-turkey scoring patterns, for example.

Oh, and as far as karma goes, it seems obvious to me that it is the TGG game threads that account for the team's success this year, not lunch meat.
