OK, I said in my thread vs. KOZ I wasn't going to be voting anywhere else other than for my opponent (and I haven't), but I have to give a hand up to plinko here (and you know I like you nyscene911). Now you all know how I feel about these awful not getting picked for kickball things in principle, but my vote will only force a tie. Therefore that exonerates me from any guilt over having to cast a deciding vote and then feeling bad over having made someone else feel bad. I leave that distinction to some other dirtbag who won't lose any sleep over it. Hehehe.

I get what you're saying. Your concern is that this is a tourney based on 2005 performance, and a 2006 member might not be the best judge of that. Fair enough. But there's no membership requirements for voting. We all just assume that BS Forum people would be the only ones coming into this special forum to vote. The only thing we can do is make sure that people don't vote twice.

MM and I have had several discussions throughout this thing, trying to carve out the best rules. Initially, we were talking with Tony to have voting hosted on his site, where everyone would have to register. After watching three rounds, I think that would have thrown a wet blanket on the whole thing. I think the way we did it made it wildly successful. I also think that MM has done an amazing job putting this together in this first year of it. But it can ALWAYS be better. Once we've crowned a champion (and we still need to think up an award), I'm sure we'll have an open thread asking for input on the 2007 BS Bowl.

yes this has ben a huge success.mistermos and yourself deserve a huge round of applause.and yes in life there will always be obstacles and detours but this has been handled in a fantastic manner.that is why we are able to have tournaments and mayor races.we have a special group here and I could only hope it continues to grow.
