Hoping that players on your team fail no matter the progress they make tends to color peoples' outlook of your knowledge.

Plus, you can't win a popularity contest when nobody likes you.

I never once hoped a player on the team failed. Not once.... That's a blatant lie.

Now, do I think Revis is a very good player? NO, I don't... but I'd love him TO BE.

As for winning the popularity contest, check out who won in 2005... :)

Must have been much harder last season when you had a < 1 yr old, and a 1 yr old baby....

It was, and if you noticed, I didn't log in much last year either, but believe it or not taking care of a < 1 yr old is easier... That, and with them being 10-6, there was more incentive to try to talk Jets...

You know, I wondered about that last night but didn't have any real time to post about that. You account for not winning it the past 2 years by saying your kids kept you away, but I think it has less to do with the knowledge you so graciously bestow upon the board (yes, that was sarcasm) than the way you presented yourself in '05 compared to now. Yes, you did a lot of cap research and helped a lot of people on the board understand where we were, and that's good stuff, but it doesn't account for the lapse in dickheadedness.

I think that was the same year that JetFanMack won his Mod position in that once-only poll thread. It was almost like you were trying to behave yourself or something. Well at least until Petrozza told you in that thread (in response to a post you made telling people how deserving of the Mod position you were) that he knew something about you and basically let you know it would never happen. All this time I had thought it was because you had trolled the board under a different nick or something, but that idea never seemed right to me; especially since Petro would probably have banned you the moment he found out.

Last night when I read your post it occurred to me that you are (or were) probably a prominent poster on JI.com, maybe even a Moderator, somebody that Soothsayer could have asked to try REALLY HARD to get a Mod position on the board. Because that guy is truly that much of a dipshit. This is now the scenario that makes the most sense to me.

BULLSH...

I asked for the title to be put in my title. ASK TONY. Read last year's threads! I said I'd put it in my title BEFORE THE VOTING ENDED.

Get your facts straight, then call me out. You're calling me out by lying. Check the records.

I'm annoying, and I know it.. nothing to be upset about. People can't help but get annoyed at someone who knows more than they do.

That's not true. Jetsin2004 PM'ed last year when the voting was taking place and he stated that he wanted that award. He wasn't bothered by it at all.

People can't help but get annoyed at someone who knows more than they do.

This is why Vince Lombardi is considered the most annoying head coach of all-time.
This also explains why Albert Einstein's tombstone was engraved with the saying, "World's Most Annoying Man."

Well there are self described genius's Cake that are totally annoying. Of course in this instance comparing that poster to Einstein is like comparing a Rhesus monkey to Robert Goddard.

For instance you missed..............

The above poster closely resembles the following:

So jilozzo rips a page out of 2004's playbook, and 2004 rips a page out of junc's playbook. Nice job.

If you have that kind of flexibility, who are we to judge you for going for it? Fellate away, right?

Well I am all for doing whatever in your own home as long as it does not hurt kids and animals. However, when they fellate themselves then wave their Johnson around looking to blast us all in the face..........................well that is when I object.
