Those three seem to be the most informed. Maybe one of the other potential nominees can change my mind and get my vote.
My vote would be based on results as we know of them right now. I realize the archives only go back to the board crash of February 2006. That is only two drafts and you'd like to see three seasons go by before you evaluate young players. However, we do have a good idea about many of the 2006 and 2007 draft picks.
If one of the nominees talked up some 6th round pick who turned out to be a gem, that would be a plus.
People who backed Buster Davis (FSU LB) and Manuel Ramirez (Texas Tech G) will be in trouble.
I remember being in a few arguments about Ramirez. I did a search and unearthed these posts:
Manuel Ramirez to me is the best G coming out this year bar none. Way too many positives about this guy. A mauler who learned to pass block because of the system he was in is a dream come true for whoever gets him. He's going to be a monster at the G position for a long time.

His pro-Ramirez comments won't help him with me, but when I look through the archives perhaps he was amazingly right about some other day 2 picks.

Seconding WW85 and Nesquick, and throwing a nomination in for Cakes. A few others guys that definitely deserve credit already in.
