I have a very bad feeling about this game. I believe Belichick will go after Bender with everything he has. If Bender is up for the task the Jets will do well if not we have nobody in back of him. I see a Pats victory just like the playoff game. God, I hate being this depressed before the game even starts.

The good news. The Jets defense is much better. I really like the two rookies to have an impact this season. Will they have an impact today? I hope so.

i'm worried i'm not going to be able to see the game! now that i'm at college in "Bills" country, when the bills play at the same time as the Jets, which i'm sure will be quite often, I wont be able to see the game on campus, so around noon i'm going to walk around town and see if anybody will get the game, if not I dont know what im going to do!

I just got back from shopping for game snacks, and DAMN it's frigging hot and humid out there! I'm probably 40 miles south of the stadium, but it's usually cooler here near the ocean.

I think the heat/fatigue play a factor--esp. in the 4th quarter. We'll see who holds up and who wilts as the game goes on.

Jets declared G Jacob Bender, CB Andre Dyson, S Eric Smith, FB Darian Barnes, DE Mike DeVito, TE Jason Pociask, and WR Chansi Stuckey inactive for Sunday's game. Marques Tuiasosopo is the third QB.

Bender will be replaced by a combo of Wade Smith and Adrien Clarke. Barnes is the team's starting fullback. That the Jets are sitting him down may indicate the team doesn't plan to use inside runs often against New England.
