lol i agree with ATW, but that would be a sick team.

That team would be elite. Cutout Drew Bennett and Asante Samuel and you may have yourself a realistic ordeal here. I doubt we get turner either, and still manage Tony Ugoh, Adam Carriker, and Brian Leonard in the draft. They would have to be our top three picks.

Signing Adalius Thomas and Steinbach are realistic atleast in my view though.

I just dont get the everyones infactuation (sorry for the typo) with Turner.
I would rather use the draft picks it is used to get him on somebody in the draft. Such as Irons or Marshawn Lynch. I think if it takes more than one pick for turner, the jets must look for rb in the draft. Or even go with Leonard & Leon as dual backs. A little lighting and thunder Jets 2007

I don't get it either. YOu could draft your Guard and not pay for a vet. Save money and a pick.
I would stay away from Expensive Guards, Turner & Adelius Thomas
I would sign Drew Bennett

Why would you stay away from Adelius Thomas. Could You imagine the havoc they (Bryan Thomas and Adelius Thomas) would wreck in opposing teams backfields?

30 year old 6-2 outside linebacker........ I don't think he is that good. Not saying I'm right, but to me he is the guy on the Ravens other teams forget about and single block. Here he would the guy they game planned for.

Well i understand you opinion, but look at his numbers, he has DE type numbers and fits into our system perfectly.

A guy that can play from safety, olb, and DE when we go to a 4-3 look at times, he would be a beast on our team

All I'm saying is the guy is probably the 7th/8th best player on the Ravens D, I wouldn't pay for the numbers that guy puts up in one of the top three Defenses in the League with the players he is sandwiched around.

And I Don't know how you can be an All-pro when you are the second best best OLB on your team. Did you mean Pro bowl???? Allpro and Pro-bowl are two different things.

Uh yeah, I know the difference.

Adalius Thomas is old and I'm not sure he would be a good signing but his versatility makes him one of the top players in the league.

Not to mention he lines up at CB as well. Can really knock the shit out of Wrs at the line.

Wow, wouldn't have though he would be an ALL-Pro.

Im not trying to knock him, I'm just saying he proababy will not be that player in NEw York and we will most definitly be paying him a 50million contract with 20million in bonus..... I don't know if I would do that is all im saying.

No one is going to give him 20 million guaranteed and 50 million total.
He will cost a lot however and may not be worth it at his age.

THat's what Julian Peterson got off a horrible year. I bet that's what Briggs get too from somebody. Would not touch Thomas.

I'm sure Tannaenbaum would be able to figure it out, we went from cap hell last year to to 28 million in cap space this year..........

Because they bumped up the cap space like 10-12 million.

Go play Madden Football Franchis Mode, dude. So we sign Samuel, trade a high pick for Turner, in turn sign him long-term, sign Eric Steinbach, a top guard? What about cash for other positions of need, plus re-signing Cotchery and Rhodes down the line?

not to mention the most coveted linebackers arguably in Thomas. And how much is Drew Bennett costing us?

Martin is the man

get over brian leonard everybody

Why the guys is great and worth even an early 2nd round pick. He can block, catch the ball, and run the ball. A combination of washington's speed to the out side and leonard's power up the middle it allows the jets to make up for each others weakness and not give the D an oppertunity to predict what is coming. And the ability for both of them to catch the ball allows penny many options. He would be great!!!

well im sure we'll have a great off-season but i don't expect to sign more than 2 well known playmakers... I'd be shocked if we signed ANYBODY as close to A. Thomas. I expect underrated low paid players to give us depth everywhere, and people will be mad but we'll be damn good.
