Good stuff as much as I would like to draft higher, being this low we don't have to worry about drafting a player that's a bust and dealing with the salary cap issues. I'd almost rather pick in the last third of the draft so that we get players with much lower contracts. If you screw up a top 10 pick it will destroy your cap.

Doesn't the end of the draft order, with the playoff teams, change based on playoff results?

Yeah it does and the 2nd round moves around a little bit. Not sure why or how but it's never the exact same order.

The teams that have the same record cycle each round to make it more even, rather than strength of schedule or a coin flip carrying through for the whole draft.

For example, there are 3 6-10 teams.

Round 1 has Minny 1st, Houston 2nd and Miami 3rd.
Round 2 will cycle: Houston will be 1st, Miami 2nd and Minny 3rd.
Round 3 will cycle again: Miami will be 1st, Minny 2nd, and Houston 3rd.

That cycling will keep repeating through all 7 rounds.

I know the later round switch around, but what I meant was, lets say the Jets win the superbowl, wouldn't they have the 32nd pick in the 1st round, and then the team that lost to them would have 31st? Just like last year when the Steelers had the last pick of the first round, even though they didn't have the best record during the regular season. That could just be with the superbowl teams though. So unless I'm wrong, the 26th pick isn't set in stone. Hopefully it will drop even lower. :)

Yeah thats how it works the 2 super bowl teams get the last 2 spots and the winner gets 32.
