For Christmas this year I got two tickets to the Jets vs. Raiders game which marks my first ever visit to the Meadowlands for a Jets regular season game. I'm sitting in Section 124 which looked like pretty good seats. I've been a diehard Jets fan my whole life and have always envied those who are able to attend games on a regular basis. I hope the stadium is rocking on Sunday with the chance for a playoff berth. Anybody with any advice about where to go before the game or comments about how the seats are would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Show up early (like 2-3 hours early) and walk around the parking lot. Everyone is friendly and bar-b-quing. And dress warm - you freeze your ass off sitting in one place for 4 hours outdoors.

I think I'm going to get there around 11:45-12 just because my dad isn't huge on tailgating before the game but we will definitly walk around a little before going in. I definitly want to get in a little early and watch warm ups and stuff and I'm definitly wearing a lot of clothing, I've been to Eagles games in winter (aunt has season tickets) where I was frozen by the end of the game

That was an amazing time. The stadium seemed to be one big party rather than a football game. Everyone thought we would win the game so the atmosphere was amazing. The best part of the game was the very end when everyone that was left was just standing up and cheering while Chad kneeled the ball. I know there was negative reaction about the towels but they were really a lot of fun.
The only negative thing about the whole experience was trying to park. I got to the Meadowlands at 12:00 and I missed the first 5 minutes of the game. It took around 45 minutes to wrap our way around to a parking lot that wasn't full. But besides that it was one of the best experiences ever.

this was my first jets home game too. although i honestly thought the atmosphere wasn't that great especially with so much on the line but maybe the fans just took oakland for granted and expected a win and wasn't worried. it also may have to do with the fact that i go to college in the Big 12 and the college crowds are much much better than the pros IMHO
