I like the playcalling on the openning drive. Pennington to be successful cannot be exposed by having to complete anything longer than 7 yards. Asking him to do that is just asking for a lot of fumbles. The one thing we have learned about Pennington is he has to be asked to play within his limits. If he tries to do much he causes turnovers.
