If anyone declines it though, we can just get someone to replace them and take over their teams.

haha, pretty much
its like you can keep up to 2 or 3 players each year, each league has its own rules and then you draft from the players no one kept
this makes young guys lhot commodities......did i just say hot commodities?
WTF, I SAID IT AGAIN
btw, i got madden tonight, its sick!

haha wow you guys are two-faced! Already ready to boot me out! Well I guess I'm down for a keeper league but it takes the fun out of drafting players if you ask me.
Oh and Dwalsh... have fun with Stevens and his injured knee. It says hes out for 8 weeks but with a torn meniscus expect 10-12 before a full recovery  Dallas Clark is going to break out this year... he will complement Shockey nicely on his bye week!

and it really is too late for it because you have to set the league as keeper status... GM you sure you want a keeper when you had the 12th pic? hmm? Sure people with the top 4-5 picks are going to want keeper leagues!

actually if this was a keeper league that can go for a long time me and GM should really want keepers since weve got cadillac and ronnie brown
both not yet in their prime and only improving

I like the keeper idea because I have Reggie Bush AND Larry Johnson. I should have an elite backfield for years to come. Assuming they don't get hurt, knock on wood.

That's a big assumption considering who Johnson's coach is...

maybe next year should be keeper... because I def would have had a different draft stradegy if I knew it was from the start. But if not I don't care... its not like were playin for money. Some one post my team please work is blocking it.
GM are you gonna do the sig for me?

Thats a big reason why we shouldnt have the keeper idea. You like it because what you got. If you went in planning that then it would be a different story ya know? But im neutral and STILL waiting for someone to post my team
I'm in a few leagues so i get confused but i think its around the lines of...
Tom Brady
Steven Jackson
Willis MaShitface
Donald Driver
Shockey
Rackers
Colts D
And now i'm blank... I think I have Rod Smith thrown in there somewhere. Jackson and Brady are both great keepers as well as Willis, but the way a keeper goes... you can only keep one player.

Why would it be different? Would I only not draft shitty players if it was a keeper league? The only effect it might have had is I might have taken a real young guy who won't do much this year instead of a random backup in the late rounds. Not a big deal. Also, I think you can keep more than one player. Every keeper league I've been in has had 4-6.

i think it would make a difference more in the middle rounds
ex: someone may take Joey Galloway or Keenan McCardell ina non-keeper while if they knew it was a keeper they would go more for guys like Lee Evans
but i dont think anyone would be keeping a mid rounder
i dont think the difference of a keeper or nonkeepr will deterr someone from taking tomlinson in the top 3

Understandable... but it's somethin that should have been known before the draft and not after. I would have taken the rookies into more consideration in the earlier rounds. i.e. reggie bush in round 3, maroney within 3-6... not drafting Donald Driver as early as I did etc. Like I said I dont mind what we do but my vote is for non-keeper. Jackson would be a nice keeper tho.

You guys need to pay attention. It's ridiculous seeing all these players in bye weeks. This definitely shouldn't be a keeper league, because some people obviously don't care. Not to mention it was such a boring week watching a 90-16 week with only Reggie Bush to go on Monday.
